Miriakamba Hut

Miriakamba Huts is the first overnight stop on the Mount Meru trekking route in Arusha National Park, located at approximately 2,500 metres above sea level. Set within a lush montane forest, the huts are surrounded by rich vegetation, diverse birdlife, and occasional sightings of wildlife such as colobus monkeys and buffalo.

The huts provide simple but comfortable accommodation in dormitory-style rooms, making them a popular choice for trekkers climbing Mount Meru. Facilities include dining areas, basic washrooms, and a peaceful environment ideal for rest and acclimatisation.
