Karanga Camp is a point on Mount Kilimanjaro, located along the Machame, Lemosho, and Umbwe routes. Set in a rocky valley below the southern glaciers of Kibo, the camp offers stunning high-altitude scenery with sweeping views of the mountain and surrounding landscapes.

After climbing the Barranco Wall, trekkers descend into the Karanga Valley before arriving at camp, making this an important acclimatisation stop. The extra time spent here helps climbers adjust to the altitude and improve their chances of a successful summit.
